TEAR SHEETS TECHNICAL-ILLUSTRATION CONCEPT SKETCHES

Traditional Media: These are painted using a variety of media including oils, acrylics, prismacolor, and water color.

Computer Graphics: Here are some images which rely more on 3D rendering programs and post rendering touch-up work.

John, a freelance Illustrator for the education and advertising industries, also paints Sci/Fi Fantasy fine art pictures. Proficient in traditional media as well as digital his illustrations have a realistic style, technically accurate but with a dramatic twist here and there. As well as painting pictures, he greatly enjoys doing research on his subjects. He has been working for the publishing and advertising industries for 20 years or so.
